I'm looking at the San Pablo wall fountain. Your general maintenance instructions specify using DISTILLED WATER. It will be on a sheltered wall on an outside deck in South Carolina, but the heat/evaporation would make refilling from anything other than a garden hose impractical and expensive. Does it really require distilled water? Also, is there any screen filter in the bottom basin to catch the small insects that will wind up there or is that not an issue for the filter? Finally, I've read a few reviews that reported QC problems with the manufacturer Kenroy - leaking, crooked basin alignment, LED failure, etc. What has your experience been with this product? Thanks for your feedback!
Distilled water has no minerals that can buildup and cause scale issues, which is why we recommend it. However, many customers simply use hose water. If you have hard water you may just need to clean your fountain more often to prevent buildup. There is no screen that will filter out debris. It is recommended that you clean your fountain periodically to prevent the pump from clogging.
Kenroy home products are primarily made of resin, which is a bit less durable than cast stone concrete products and has more potential to warp. However, many customers are happy with this product. Kenroy also offers a one year warranty on their products.

1.) Currently all small fountains will be shipped through UPS Ground, with free shipping.
2.) Fountains over 100lbs. will ship freight with Curbside Service. They will not unpackage and/or relocate your order once off the truck. Please make sure to have any kind of assistance needed at time of delivery if you feel necessary. Note: The delivery company will call to arrange a delivery time. Customers must be available to sign for the fountain at time of delivery.
3.) Many of our fountains are made to order and the lead time for each fountain will vary. Please reach out for current lead times on the product(s) you are interested in and we would be happy to provide you with the specific information you are needing.
4.) On the delivery for fountains with extra large bases, a forklift is required for delivery as the base will be too big for lift-gate service. You must arrange this prior to fountain delivery. NOTE: Although most fountains DO NOT require a forklift because they can fit on a lift gate, we will notify you prior to shipping if your fountain requires a fork lift.

Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the product(s) you purchase from Outdoor Fountain Pros, you can have the confidence that you can return or exchange the item within 30 days of receipt for a 15% restocking fee less any shipping charges that were incurred. All returned items to Outdoor Fountain Pros must be in new and unused condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's box. All of the products parts, accessories, registration cards, etc must be returned for full credit.
